We are two sisters who returned to our home state and settled in Lander, Wyoming 12 years ago. We have often wondered what took us so long to find this beautiful community that we simply love. We have poured our hearts and souls into this beautiful property along the Popo Agie River, and want to share our home and a new duplex recently born to life on the back of our property close to the river's edge!
A little bit about the Two Sisters...
Just as our name suggests, Two Sisters Home Suites is the creation of two sisters, Joan and Mary Dean Marshall. We’ve been blessed with a magnificent 1918 Arts and Crafts home, and enjoy the recent addition of a duplex at the back of the property, in the charming town of Lander, recently named one of America’s top 25 mountain towns by Sunset magazine. We grew up in the motel and restaurant business in Sheridan, Wyoming, in a large family of three sisters and five brothers. Now that we are finally home again after years in Spokane and Denver, we see hospitality as our joyful destiny and we are delighted to be of service to you in our home state.
Joan has two beautiful grown daughters, both of whom presently live in Spokane. When she is not in the garden playing or on the tractor mowing our very large lawn, she is busy creating beautiful quilts.
Mary Dean has a passion for the restoration of historic homes and old buildings. She also enjoys reading, creating spaces, knitting and icon writing.
